Travel PTA Opportunity in Lafayette, IN

Make a real difference as a travel PTA working in a hospital outpatient orthopedic setting in Lafayette, IN. You will work with patients recovering from surgery and managing chronic musculoskeletal conditions, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
  • Active Indiana PTA license required prior to the start of the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience, with outpatient orthopedics experience required.
  • Experience treating post-operative knee, hip, and shoulder patients and managing low back/neck pain.
  • Experience with EMR systems; experience with Epic preferred.
  • Experience using therapeutic equipment including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, Hivamat, laser, AlterG, or Vector is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Training or proven skills in manual therapy techniques preferred.
  • Previous experience working with adult ortho and neuro patient populations preferred.
Assignment Details
  • Shift hours: 08:3017:00.
  • Scheduled days: Monday through Friday.
  • Typical weekly hours: approximately 36 hours per week.
  • Patient ratio typically 1:1 in outpatient sessions.
  • EMR: Epic.
