We are seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in Bluefield, Virginia. At H2 Health Bluefield, you'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan, including orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine, balance and vestibular, and functional mobility conditions. Our team provides individualized, evidence-based care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients while fostering a supportive environment where clinicians can thrive.

Your Role Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care designed to restore function and maximize outcomes.
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment interventions for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Collaborate with patients, caregivers, physicians, and referral sources to ensure coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation utilizing technology designed to support clinician efficiency.
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
  • Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Deliver therapeutic exercises, functional training, manual techniques, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient performance and communicate progress toward goals with the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, and independence.
  • Complete timely documentation while contributing to an outstanding patient experience.

Requirements

  • Physical Therapist (PT)
    • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent legacy degree (MSPT/MPT/BPT) from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program.
    • Current Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Strong communication, clinical reasoning, and patient care skills.
    • Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
    • Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
    • Current Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility for licensure.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Dedication to helping patients achieve meaningful functional outcomes.
