Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and well-supported team just outside of Orlando, Florida. This full-time, hospital-based position offers a balance of compensation, flexibility, and lifestyle, making it an ideal opportunity for both experienced physicians and new graduates.
Position Highlights
  • Primarily supervisory model with CRNAs (minimal own cases)
  • Bread-and-butter community hospital case mix including OB, general, and some thoracic
  • No cardiac cases (cardiac program launching soon)
  • Steady, manageable workload in a collegial environment
Schedule & Call
  • 3 weeks of standard schedule (primarily Monday Friday)
  • Weekend rotation: 1 in 5 weekends
  • 1:5 call structure with home call model
    • Monday Friday: 4 PM 7 AM (from home)
    • Weekend: 7 PM 7 AM (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Post-call benefit: Entire following week off

Facility Description: Orlando Health South Lake Hospital

Conveniently located in Clermont, Orlando Health South Lake Hospital is a 170-bed comprehensive medical and surgical acute care facility serving the residents of Lake County as a trusted member of the community for nearly 75 years.

With advanced technology and expertise in numerous areas of specialty, including cardiology, minimally invasive surgery, orthopedics and women s services, the hospital provides a complete continuum of care. The hospital also is recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery and a Primary Stroke Center.
