Novant Health is seeking aCT Technologistto join our team. This role works directly with radiologists and staff to prepare patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic scans. Come join a remarkable team where quality care meets quality service, in every dimension, every time.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for CT procedures and explain the process clearly
Safely and effectively operate CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images
Adapt procedures to meet the age-specific needs of patients
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and team members to ensure exceptional care
Support a safe, patient-centered environment in line with “First Do No Harm” principles
Education
Required:High School Diploma or GED, Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology
Preferred:Associate Degree
Inpatient requirement:Graduate of a JCERT-accredited school of Radiology and/or military health system program
Certification Path:
If not CT-registered, must complete ARRT post-primary certification in CT within 12 months of hire (18 months for incumbents in CT Tech roles)
Experience
Preferred:One year of experience in CT scanning
Licensure/Certification
Required:ARRT, CT Registry (if outpatient – IDTF or HOPD)
Preferred:CT Registry (if inpatient)
Additional Skills
Strong analytical ability and basic computer skills
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt procedures to meet patient-specific needs
