Responsible for taking all actions necessary to secure and maintain market share and rental volume level in an assigned territory Rental Sales Representative Essential Functions
Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal Efficiently organizes time and information to maximize effectiveness Obtains and maintains an elevated level of understanding of marketing and finance programs. Prepares quotations outlining features, benefits, and any available financing programs Achieves and maintains excellent product knowledge through sales schools and self-study Develops and continues to improve interpersonal and sales skills through continuous professional development Establishes and maintains personal relationships with customers by determining customer needs and the best way to satisfy those needs Studies and maintains knowledge of competition machines, finance, and marketing programs Acts as Liaison between KSMI and customers in all aspects of customer relations Ensures that all aspects of Sales and Rental transactions are correct and completed on time Completes all required paperwork accurately and on time Ensures that all contracts and transactions are conducted in an ethical and professional manner Identifies prospects in the territory and works on developing and enlarging the customer base in the territory Maintains communication and advises management of all changes in the territory Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance Performs other job-related duties as assigned Rental Sales Representative Qualifications
High School Education with post-secondary education preferred Three (3) years of construction equipment sales or related experience Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to organize and manage time effectively Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications Adept at organizing, planning, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperwork Rental Sales Representative Physical Requirements
