$50,000 – $60,000 annually Language: Japanese / English bilingual skills preferred, but Japanese language skills are not required. Strong English communication skills required. Interest in Japanese culture and Japanese business environments is preferred. Position Overview We are seeking an Operations & Sales Support Coordinator to support both daily operational activities and sales support functions. This position will play an important role in ensuring smooth coordination among customers, vendors, warehouse teams, and counterparts in Japan to facilitate efficient order processing and delivery operations. The role also includes customer support, event coordination, and basic marketing-related activities. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and interested in working in a dynamic international business environment. Key Responsibilities Operations & Logistics Support Assist with daily operations, including order processing, shipping coordination, and delivery follow-up Coordinate and communicate with vendors, warehouse staff, customers, and counterparts in Japan regarding operational matters Prepare and maintain shipping documents, order records, and logistics-related data Assist with inventory support and routine supply chain coordination Support purchase order (PO) processing and coordination with carriers and suppliers Update and maintain operational information in internal systems and spreadsheets Assist in resolving routine shipping and operational issues through coordination with internal teams Sales & Customer Support Assist with customer communications regarding orders, shipments, product inquiries, and general account support Support order entry, order tracking, and preparation of quotes, invoices, and related sales documentation Follow up on shipment schedules, delivery updates, and customer service matters Maintain and update customer information and sales-related records Coordinate with warehouse and internal teams regarding customer orders and deliveries Event & Marketing Support Assist with preparation and coordination for trade shows, conferences, academic events, and related activities Support customer presentations, event preparation, and follow-up activities Assist with social media updates and basic marketing or promotional materials General Administrative Support Provide general administrative support and assist with special projects as assigned Support cross-functional activities and internal coordination as needed Qualifications Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook) Strong communication and coordination skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Japanese / English bilingual skills preferred Candidates with strong English communication skills are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates and entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; prior experience is not required for candidates with a strong willingness to learn Prior experience in sales support, customer service, logistics support, operations, or administrative support is a plus This is a full-time, on-site position based in Torrance with an immediate hiring need.
