This person can be located near the five following locations where we have manufacturing plants/facilities.
(1. Byron Center, Michigan, 2. Fond Du Lac Wisconsin, 3. Kansas City, Kansas. 4. Perryville, Missouri, and 5. Washington, Iowa)
POSITION SUMMARY
The
Architectural Regional Sales Manager
will develop and execute sales strategies, plans, and activities designed to meet Atlas' profitability goals. The
Architectural Region Sales Manager
supervises Territory Sales Representatives and Sales Agents in the assigned region.
Architectural Regional Sales Manager
Job Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties as assigned) Maintain current account base and develop new accounts. Promote Atlas products at each level of the assigned channel (Industrial or Architectural) Conduct training sessions for customers regarding product knowledge and services. Attend customer shows, conventions, and other industry related activities when requested by management. Resolve customer complaints. Evaluate sales potential in areas and product categories. Assess the competition, pricing levels, and new product potential, and market trends. Work closely with Marketing, Finance, and technical support. Prepare the annual sales and expense plans for the region and the individual sales territories. Manage the sales team activities. Support and sustain a culture where talent is developed through effective performance management, talent evaluation and utilization of people. Maintain documentation, track, counsel, and execute coaching and corrective action when performance issues occur. Ensure workforce is trained in respective job duties. Work with Credit Department on past due accounts, set credit limits, payment terms, and administration of incentive program through Vice President of sales. Frequent travel required. Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required. Architectural Regional Sales Manager
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) is preferred. Master's degree in business or technical area is highly desirable. 7+ years' experience in sales and marketing in manufacturing/industrial industry. Architectural
