We specialize in servicing and supporting leading marine brands including *Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Rossiter, Princecraft, MasterCraft, Waverunner PWC and Loadrite trailers*.
*Position: Marine Technician*
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Marine Technician to join our team in Pointe au Baril for a *seasonal, full-time position*. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marine service, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the high standards our customers expect.
We are a group of three marina locations, based in Pointe au Baril – Desmasdons Boatworks, Beacon Marine & Payne Marine.
*Responsibilities*
* Diagnose, service, and repair outboards, personal watercraft, and boats from leading brands (*Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Rossiter, Princecraft, MasterCraft, Waverunner PWC*)
* Perform routine maintenance, seasonal preparations, and safety inspections
* Complete warranty and recall work according to manufacturer standards
* Use diagnostic tools and technical manuals to ensure precise and efficient repairs
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment
* Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
*Qualifications*
* Previous experience as a Marine Technician (or similar mechanical trade)
* Familiarity with Yamaha, Mercury, Stanley, Grady White, Key West, Princecraft, and/or Waverunner PWC an asset
* Marine industry certifications or willingness to pursue ongoing technical training
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Valid driver’s license (marine operator certification an asset)
* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects when required.
* Flexible availability, including weekends, and holidays.
