At Townsquare Media Group, we're looking for a dynamic Digital & Radio Content Leader who thrives at the intersection of on-air creativity, digital storytelling, and team leadership. This full-time, in-office role, is perfect for a dynamic, ambitious, and proven talent with experience in radio and digital content. We're looking for a true 360-degree creator—someone who can entertain, inform, and inspire across radio, digital, social, and live events—while driving audience growth and revenue impact. You'll work closely with a collaborative local team and have the opportunity to grow with a digital-first media company built on strong local brands. This position reports to the Director of Content and holds full brand ownership of one station, including on-air performance and digital content creation. Why Townsquare Media? What You'll Do: Provide vision, leadership, and day-to-day management for one station brand Host "Good Morning Yakima" weekdays from 6am–9am while delivering an engaging, entertaining on-air experience and overseeing the day-to-day programming of KIT-AM, a conservative-leaning news-talk station Write and publish 1–3 original articles per weekday air shift, including breaking news, police and fire coverage, business news, feature stories, curated content, and audience-focused digital pieces with a compelling, relatable voice and creative non-traditional storytelling formats (think Buzzfeed) Collaborate with the Director of Content on initiatives to elevate brand quality, programming, and events Partner with the Market President and leadership team to build and maintain a positive, professional, high-performing culture Conduct regular strategy and coaching sessions with air talent, along with brainstorming sessions involving programming, leadership, and sales teams Work closely with sales leadership to generate revenue through programming, features, promotions, endorsements, digital platforms, and events Recruit, develop, and retain top on-air and digital talent Engage audiences daily across the station website, mobile app, and social media platforms including Facebook, X (Twitter), and Instagram through compelling, audience-focused content and social copy Develop and integrate digital and social content strategies into on-air programming using news value, audience demand, and search data to drive engagement Represent the station at live events, promotions, and partner appearances Communicate clearly and effectively across departments and with key stakeholders Drive measurable audience growth across on-air and digital platforms, with success evaluated through ratings, streaming performance, digital traffic, engagement, and related audience metrics Creating and publishing original video content regularly, including social-first short-form video (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) and longer-form segments that grow your personal on-screen brand Prospecting and developing endorsement and influencer partnerships with local businesses, pitching yourself as a trusted community voice who can authentically promote products and services across on-air, video, and social platforms Participating in person in high-visibility community events, client meetings, and business functions as a station ambassador who builds relationships that translate into revenue What You'll Bring: 5+ years of full-time radio experience Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of building successful brands or teams Proven, measurable success in audience growth and digital content performance Understanding of digital content strategy, SEO best practices, and what drives audience engagement across web and social platforms Passion for community journalism with strong news judgment and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong understanding of FCC rules and regulations Excellent writing, reporting, verbal communication, and public speaking skills; multimedia content experience is highly valued Comfort interacting with listeners, clients, and community partners in public settings Strong organizational, problem-solving, and prioritization skills Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure Technical proficiency operating control boards, remote broadcast equipment, and related production tools High School Diploma (required) Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and vehicle (required) What's In It for You? Washington Base Pay Range: $48,000 - $65,000 USD Yea 1 Total Compensation, Based on Experience and Performance: $50,000 - $70,000 USD
