The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Albany Medical College in Albany, NY is seeking a board-certified pathologist to participate in clinical services of Breast pathology in an academic setting. Fellowship training is highly desired. This position offers a mix of clinical service, teaching, and collaborative research in a supportive, collegial environment.

Position Highlights:

  • Focused practice in breast pathology, with the opportunity to support other subspecialties if desired
  • Involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Opportunities for clinical, translational, and collaborative research
  • Access to strong institutional resources, including core labs and biorepositories
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration with breast surgery, radiology, oncology, and research teams

Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent with board certification in Anatomic Pathology
  • Fellowship training in breast pathology highly desired
  • Academic accomplishments and interest in teaching and publishing
  • Experienced candidates preferred, but all qualified applicants will be considered

Competitive salary range with quarterly incentive bonus opportunity $224,000-$336,500 (base salary).
