**Job Description:**
A vacancy for an *UAS & Teaming Chief Engineering - Autonomy Systems MAS Leader (m/f)* has arisen within Airbus Helicopters in Aix Les Milles .
*Your challenges:*
You are responsible to master and align the Squads leading the design, development, and qualification/certification of the Autonomy Systems, to meet customer and regulatory requirements, as well as program needs in terms of cost and schedule, in a product line approach and in close collaboration with the VSR700 and H145UC PMAS.
* In particular you are responsible to: *
* capture Customers and Programs requirements, generate corresponding solutions, and produce technical specifications
* liaise with R&T team to prepare the adequate upcoming technologies, in accordance with a schedule driven by market needs
* execute concurrent set-based development options and make a top-down selection to achieve program maturity milestones
* produce the technical work breakdown structure, development schedule, and technical risk management, and ensure all technical teams deliver on time, with quality, and within reasonable cost
* continuously monitor progress, ensure timely resolution of technical issues, and lead technical change management, including the acceptance and rejection of customer requests
* approve the necessary budget for engineering resources related to program engineering tasks and verify resource availability
* lead product qualification and certification
* support production, integrated logistics, and customer support, and ensure operational safety
* adapt standard product development processes for streamlining, with CTO agreement, to meet specific program needs
* lead and inspire Engineering teams to achieve the team goals
In your daily work, you interact actively with the VSR700 and H145UC and Teaming PMAS / MAS / Squads members, and you are accountable for the interface with Customer and Programs related to Engineering matters.
Because UAS & Teaming is a particularly agile team, acting in a very competitive environment, you are eager to implement simplification actions, and lead the team to the objective by example.
The job is located in Aix Les Milles UAS & Teaming plateau.
**TECHNICAL SKILLS**
* Strong project management skills
* Strong helicopter knowledge (vehicle, systems, avionics)
* Military systems (mission systems, sensors...) and operational usage
* General engineering knowledge
* Airworthiness, Safety
* Configuration management principles
* Understanding of Industry and S&S
* Drone design, development, manufacturing and testing experience is a bonus
**SOFT & BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS**
* Leadership and communication skills
* High sense of autonomy, initiative and team spirit
* Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with ability to process lots of complex information in a limited time
* Argumentation & negotiations capacities
* Positive attitude, energy, welcome problem attitude
* Stress management
* Speed of execution and ability to reconfigure easily
* Capacity to consider overall strategy, marketing, finance and commercial aspects
* Language: French (negotiation level mandatory), English (advanced)
