This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Biostatistics efforts advancing Natera’s oncology portfolio of cutting-edge molecular diagnostic tests. As a
Senior Biostatistician , you will leverage your applied statistics knowledge to support the design, analysis, and reporting of validation experiments for multiple high-priority projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Study Design and Analysis : Support the design and execution of statistical analyses for development and analytical validation studies, contributing to oncology product initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with fellow statisticians, bench scientists, and product development teams to integrate statistical methodologies into study planning and execution. Clearly communicate statistical concepts and findings to diverse stakeholders. Documentation and Reporting : Develop comprehensive protocols, analysis plans, and reports to support regulatory submissions and internal decision-making. Problem-Solving and Risk Mitigation : Proactively identify potential challenges, effectively communicate concerns, and propose data-driven solutions to project teams. QUALIFICATIONS: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field Minimum 3 years of relevant experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Expert applied knowledge of statistical methodology in diagnostic medicine Demonstrated ability and enthusiasm for working on cross-functional teams with members of diverse technical backgrounds Proven ability to create clear and well-structured written documentation tailored for diverse audiences Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail Prior experience with CLSI, NGS, genetics, and/or oncology testing a plus COMPENSATION: The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
