Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard - Armed Secret Clearance in Jupiter, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic aero and defense location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who bring integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while adapting to a fast-paced environment with reliability and innovation.

- Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, badges, permits, and/or deliveries in accordance with site protocols for controlled and sensitive work areas.
- Support incident response and post orders by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and following all applicable armed post guidelines, training, and company procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card and unarmed guard card is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR/First Aid is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of corrections, law enforcement or military experience.
- Must possess Secret Clearance
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
