A leading members-only, wholesale cash-and-carry supplier serving independent restaurants, caterers, delis, convenience stores, and other food service businesses across 165+ locations in 35 states is seeking a Wine & Spirits Sales Representative & Merchandiser. The company offers bulk quantities of fresh meat, seafood, produce, dairy, a wide selection of frozen foods, grocery items, beverages, paper goods, cleaning supplies, restaurant equipment, wine & spirits, and more. Overview: The nation's leading members-only, wholesale cash-and-carry supplier serving independent restaurants, caterers, delis, convenience stores, and other food service businesses across 165+ locations in 35 states is continuing to expand and is looking for driven individuals who embody an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for supporting the success of small businesses. We are seeking a knowledgeable and driven Wine & Spirits Sales Representative & Merchandiser to help grow the Wine & Spirits business in our South Florida locations. This role is responsible for maintaining fully stocked and well-merchandised aisles, ensuring compliance with all state and local alcohol regulations, and delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate brings strong wine and spirits knowledge, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to build relationships with licensed wholesale customers. This isn't just a sales job; you are a consultant for our members. You will leverage the company's existing loyal customer base to grow the Wine & Spirits department. Key Responsibility: Demonstrate strong wine, beer, and spirits knowledge when assisting customers Build and maintain relationships with customers and support new account development Assist customers in developing wine and cocktail offerings that feature our products Conduct customer tastings (both in the branch and at customers' establishments) Build and maintain in-store displays to ensure a seamless customer experience. Ensure compliance with all State and Local alcohol wholesale laws and regulations Communicate with customers how private labels can generate higher profits for their businesses Continually upsell active customers by introducing new products and expanding the company's portion of their W&S offerings Conduct customer tastings (both in the branch and at customers' establishments) Experience Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in Wine & Spirits sales, preferably in Florida (applicants with experience in restaurants or retail will also be considered) Experience with restaurants and wine/cocktail lists is a plus Strong knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits preferred Wine and spirits certifications (e.g., WSET or similar) are a plus. Speaking Spanish is a significant plus Position Requirements: Must be able to travel to the following locations: Miami, Davie, Pompano Beach, Boynton Beach, and Riviera Beach, FL (mileage reimbursement provided) Must own a reliable vehicle and have a clean driving record Must be able to travel to customer locations as required (LQS Permit) Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping Comfortable working around moving equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks High motivation and entrepreneurial
