Sales Support Specialist
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by addressing customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring a seamless customer experience. The Sales Specialist frequently engages with customers via phone and email while managing multi-site projects involving high volumes of quoting, order conversion, follow-up, and delivery coordination to meet all required jobsite deadlines. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and providing detailed product information. Reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications provided by customers to determine product needs. Managing and tracking customer requests from initial inquiry through production and delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely fulfillment. Processing order modifications, cancellations, and returns accurately and efficiently. Managing ongoing quote follow-ups by regularly updating reports, tracking status changes in customer database and coordinating with third-party vendors. Collaborating with internal departments such as customer service, logistics, and finance to streamline processes and enhance the customer experience. Maintaining customer records in customer database for accurate tracking and reporting. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 1 year of related experience in sales, customer service, or account management. Strong relationship-building skills and effective time management abilities. Technical understanding of relevant products or services. Intermediate industry knowledge and the ability to apply it in customer interactions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Prior experience working with key or national accounts. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Compensation : This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $51,200 - $80,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
