Under supervised professional and skilled guidance, our CNAs give direct nursing care to assigned residents and perform other services necessary for their personal and comforts needs. We are paying $16.50 for this position./ppstrongJob Responsibilities / Duties:/strong/pulliPromotes resident hygiene and comfort./liliDistributes food/water and feeds residents./liliAssists with repositioning and transferring residents./liliAmbulates and transports residents./liliRecords and totals fluid intake and output./liliWeighs residents./liliDocuments on flow sheets./liliAssists with admission, discharge and postmortem care./liliResponds to call lights in a timely manner./liliPerforms perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care./liliReports all observations assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse./liliTakes and records vital signs./liliMakes beds and keeps residents units clean and in order./liliPrepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge./li/ulpstrongSkill / Experience Requirements/strong/ppCurrent NYS CNA Certification./ppPrevious Long Term Care experience a plus./ppstrongEOE Statement/strong/ppWE ARE AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
