Je bent de strategische rechterhand van de CFO voor het ondersteunen van de business collega’s in het opvolgen van performantie, de uitbouw van rapportering en datagedreven besluitvorming.
Je leidt een multidisciplinair team van 8 personen (business & financial controlling, data & reporting, data-architectuur, product ownership voor finance & data) en bouwt aan een moderne, accurate en gebruiksvriendelijke data- en rapporteringsomgeving (Azure, Power BI). Functie:
- Data & Rapportering (4 FTE): Je stuurt mee aan de strategische roadmap voor de migratie naar een moderne Azure/Power BI-omgeving. Dit op basis van één organisatiebrede data-architectuur als single source of truth. Daarbij ligt de focus op datakwaliteit, lineage en definities. Doel is dat de business zoveel mogelijk zelfstandig met deze data aan de slag kan.
- Business Controlling (1 FTE): de primaire partner voor de business via challenging & ondersteuning in commerciële & operationele prestatieverbeteringen, investeringsanalyses, diverse business cases, doorgedreven KPI management, het budgetproces… Zelf werk je samen met deze collega hier ook voor zowat 50% van je tijd hands-on aan mee.
- Financial Controlling (2 FTE): Je ondersteunt de kwaliteit en de efficiëntie van de afsluitingen, consolidaties (P/L, balans, cashflowanalyse, variantieanalyse, …) en rapporteringen met de nodige robuuste processen en interne controles. Dit zowel volgens BE GAAP als IFRS.
- Product Owner Finance & Data (1 FTE): Je bent betrokken bij de transitie en uitbouw van onze finance & data-processen binnen de hele VAB-groep. En bij het sturen van de prioriteiten van onze IT-collega’s, zodat maximaal waarde gecreëerd wordt voor finance, business en andere stakeholders.
- Je bent een sparringpartner voor onze CFO, de finance- en businessmanagementteams en de directie: je vertaalt niet enkel hun vragen naar heldere en actiegerichte inzichten, maar je werkt ook proactief.
- Je stelt je als people manager coachend en waarderend op: je creëert een duidelijk werkkader en geeft medewerkers daarbinnen de ruimte om hun eigen inhoudelijke specialisatie en talent te tonen en te ontwikkelen.
- Opleiding : Masteropleiding in een financieel/economische richting (TEW, Handelsingenieur, Finance, Data/IT, …). Relevante certificaten zijn Power BI, Azure, CMA/CPA/RA, Prince2Agile, …
- Ervaring: Minimum 10 jaar finance-ervaring met een belangrijke basis in business controlling en BI/analytics of data-driven finance . Je overziet data-architectuur, modelleert kritieke finance-datasets en begrijpt BI/analytics-werkstromen. Hiervan heb je minimum 3 jaar in een leidinggevende/coachende rol gewerkt.
- Je hebt ervaring in de modernisering van de rapporteringsomgeving als belangrijk onderdeel van een transformatie.
- Je hebt een degelijke basis in accounting/controlling (BE Gaap; IFRS is een pluspunt) en interne controle/rapportering .
- Ervaring met Microsoft Dynamics F&O , een grondige kennis van Power BI (visualisaties, data modeling, DAX, governance) en een goed begrip van Azure Data Services (bv. Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse/ Fabric -concepten) zijn een cruciaal voordeel.
- Product ownership/agile werken in kruisfunctionele context is eveneens een plus.
- Talen: Nederlandstalig met een goede kennis van het Frans en Engels.
