Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Agent in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, assigned post orders, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through appropriate channels.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or access permissions, and challenge unauthorized individuals in accordance with site policies and armed post responsibilities.
  • Support cash handling and other high-value asset movement procedures when assigned, maintaining visible presence and readiness to respond to security-related issues at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This is a Custom Protection Officer position.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
