LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Staff Accountant for one of our long term clients located in Oakland, California. The work schedule is hybrid and will be required to be in-office 1 day a week. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in accounting, have 3 years of experience in general accounting in a non-profit organization developing and managing budget operations. The role supports the month-end close, audit preparation, journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist the department and team with additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the month, quarter, and year-end close and ensure deadlines are met monthly with attention to fund accounting and net asset classification Prepare, post, and adjust journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts Process and review monthly credit card reports and expenses for accuracy and coding Prepare audit tax schedules and supporting documentation Comfortable in analyzing large data sets Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required Experience in a non-profit or with government contract would be a big plus Software experience with medium to large ERP platform is preferred. Sage Intacct and SAP Concur is a plus Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, & Excel - Intermediate/Advanced Detailed, organized, and an ability to multi-task Excellent communications, outgoing, a team player Aptitude to learn and grow Experience: 3 years of experience and an accountant Employment Type: Temp to Hire If you are interested in this or other job opportunities available through LHH Recruitment, please submit your resume today at www.LHH.com !

$33.00 to $38.00 per hour
