Marketing Data Analyst About the Role Essity is looking for an experienced Marketing Data Analyst who will support commercial analytics for the North America market by coordinating data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform decision‑making. This role develops dashboards and insights, maintains data accuracy, and helps strengthen analytics tools and capabilities. Working closely with the sales team, internal stakeholders, IT, global category teams, and external partners such as media agencies, the analyst translates data into actionable business insights and supports initiatives including MMM quarterly updates and forecasting. This role will be in the Personal Care business unit and work with the TENA and Femcare brands.
The ideal candidate should live in Philadelphia, PA.
What You Will Do
Lead data collection and analysis for the NA market in the Personal Care business unit, delivering actionable insights on pricing, product mix, segmentation, profitability, sales, opportunities, risks, trends, and KPIs.
Partner with the sales, marketing, finance, and logistics teams to ensure data integrity, align insights, and support a consistent approach to commercial decision‑making.
Build advanced reports and dashboards in tools such as Excel and Power BI to monitor performance and support business decisions.
Support the development and adoption of analytics tools and systems that expand data capabilities and improve usability.
Perform regular data audits to maintain quality and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Build capability by creating frameworks that train and enable internal and external stakeholders to use performance marketing data and insights effectively.
Integrate data by helping connect performance marketing data with the Essity data lake to enable advanced analytics, including MMM, ROI modeling, and predictive analysis.
Align technology by acting as a liaison across IT, marketing, and external agencies to ensure marketing tools and attribution technologies meet business requirements.
Manage partners by working with media agencies and external providers to optimize marketing technology platforms and deliver insights aligned with business goals.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance marketing performance data processes through automation, scalability, and stronger reporting quality.
Who You Are
Educational and Professional Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in digital marketing, analytics, or campaign management.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in tools like Excel, SQL, Python, ETL tools (e.g., funnel.io) and visualization platforms such as Power BI, with familiarity in marketing technologies (e.g., ad servers, DSPs).
Data and Analytics Skills: Strong understanding of marketing metrics, ROI analysis, and predictive modeling, with the ability to integrate and analyze data from diverse sources, including media platforms, CRM and e-commerce platforms.
Strategic and Business Acumen: Ability to design and lead test‑and‑learn frameworks, synthesize insights into actionable strategies, and align data‑driven decisions with marketing objectives.
Collaboration and Communication: Strong ability to work cross‑functionally with global teams and external agencies, translating complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
Project Management: Experience managing multiple projects with a focus on scalability, process automation, and timely delivery while addressing challenges in data integration and analytics.
