For further support we are looking for an employee as Embedded Linux Engineer (m/f/x) .
What you can expect in this role
Develop, customize, and maintain Embedded Linux BSPs for target hardware platforms
Perform board bring‑up and debug hardware–software integration issues
Configure and build Linux kernels, bootloaders (e.g., U‑Boot, Barebox), and root filesystems
Work with build systems like Yocto/OpenEmbedded or Buildroot
Implement and maintain platform security features (secure boot, access control, vulnerability mitigation, patching)
Develop and adapt device drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, etc.)
Analyze and resolve system issues using debugging tools (dmesg, gdb, logs)
Collaborate with hardware and application teams to ensure system stability
Optimize system performance, boot time, and reliability
What you need to be successful in this role
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Embedded Linux
Strong programming skills in C and in C++11/14
Hands‑on experience with Embedded Linux platform development, BSP customization, and board‑bring‑up
Familiarity with bootloaders (U‑Boot, Barebox) and Device Tree (DTS)
Experience with Buildroot, Yocto/OpenEmbedded or similar build systems
Understanding of embedded security concepts (secure boot, cryptography basics, secure firmware updates, vulnerability handling)
Basic scripting skills (Bash/Python) for automation
Knowledge of embedded communication protocols and networking (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, TCP/IP)
Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work in cross‑functional teams
Our Tech‑Stack: C, C++, git , Python 3, Qt, HTTP, JSON, XML, Make, Buildroot, Gitlab (Task Planning/CI), Wireshark,System platforms (selection): Generic x86‑based server hardware, Intel Xeon D, NXP QorIQ® P2020, Xilinx Zynq Ultrascale+
