We are looking for an
Embedded Linux Engineer
to provide software development services for our clients. You will work in our American office, located in Bellevue (WA), as part of a small team, with regular client contacts. Missions:
Define the best way to implement embedded system functionalities with the support of senior embedded engineers
Create customized Yocto distributions, layers, and recipes
Adapt U-Boot, the Linux kernel, and device drivers
Develop or adapt board support packages (BSPs) for our clients’ custom hardware to provide additional functionalities: system updates, security, boot optimization, etc.
Develop or automate via scripts and middleware in
Bash, Python, C or C++
The VIE Program, What Is It?
It is an international program, supported by the French Embassy and Business France, which allows you to join our American team for
18 months . You will be part of our local engineering team and work on our IoT projects on-site. This program is reserved for European citizens, aged from
18 to 29 years maximum . And After The VIE?
At Witekio, we consider the VIE as a
long-term investment . Several of our current engineers started through this program. If your mission is successful, the adventure can continue as part of our
International Talent Program ! Your Profile:
Degree of
Bac+5 in Computer Science or Computer Engineering , specializing in embedded systems
Indispensable experience with
Yocto or Buildroot , the
Linux kernel
and
drivers
Proficiency in
C/C++ development
Experience with embedded development tools like JTAG probes or logic analyzers is a plus
Fluent English
required (all work is done in English)
