Required Skills
8+ years of Oracle DBA experience
Expertise in PL/SQL, TSQL, and SQL programming
Experience with various operating systems
SQL performance tuning
Knowledge of DBA tools such as TOAD, OEM, SQL Developer, and MS SQL Profiler
Strong in replication technologies
Oracle database certification
Experience with ITIL processes: change, incident management, SRT handling
Client‑facing communication skills
Ability to manage a team and delegate work
On‑call support and willingness to work in multiple North American time zones, including offshore night shift support
Experience with cross‑platform database installation, migration, and backup/recovery concepts and practices
Desired Skills
Domain knowledge in automobile/manufacturing industries
Experience with Java, .NET, VB, Shell, and Perl scripting
Data integration and data quality development, code promotion, version control, and QA procedures
Experience implementing enterprise database high‑availability solutions
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery concepts and practices
