NOW HIRING: WFH- Prior Authorization Pharmacist Adecco Healthcare is seeking experienced Prior Authorization Pharmacists who are passionate about ensuring patients receive safe, effective, and appropriate medication therapy. If you're a licensed pharmacist with strong clinical judgment and experience applying evidence-based guidelines, we want to hear from you! Pay Rat e: $65.72 - $69.47 per hour Location : Remote Schedule Monday – Friday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM AZ Time Training Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM AZ Time What You'll Do Review and evaluate medication prior authorization requests for medical necessity and clinical appropriateness Apply evidence-based clinical guidelines, FDA labeling, drug compendia, and formulary criteria Assess patient-specific information including: • Diagnosis • Lab results • Previous therapies • Dosing requirements • Contraindications • Comorbidities Approve, modify, or deny medication requests and clearly document clinical rationale Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, nurses, medical directors, and other healthcare professionals Support peer-to-peer reviews and prepare clinical summaries for escalated cases Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and quality initiatives Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations Qualifications Required Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in Arizona (AZ) or Texas (TX) Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD Minimum 2 years of pharmacist experience Experience applying: • Clinical guidelines • Formularies • Preferred drug lists • Evidence-based decision-making Experience working in a high-volume production environment Preferred 3+ years of pharmacist experience Knowledge of: • Clinical programs • Formulary design • Prescription benefit management trends • Utilization management processes Apply Today!
