Overview
We have an immediate need for a
Structural Engineer (Buildings)
to join our fast-growing team in our
Edison, NJ
office. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of
building structural engineering projects , including new construction, rehabilitation, and renovations, within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
This role provides hands-on experience and direct mentorship from senior engineers, with the opportunity to support projects from
initial investigation and design through construction administration . The ideal candidate is a versatile, motivated engineer who is eager to take on increasing responsibility and grow within a collaborative team environment focused on technical excellence and practical solutions.

Responsibilities
Perform structural engineering
analysis and design
for building structures, including
structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood systems Assist with
site investigations
to observe and document existing conditions and structural deficiencies Develop and review
engineering calculations , and assist in the preparation of
drawings and specifications Coordinate structural work with
in-house architects and other engineering disciplines
to support integrated project delivery Support the
construction administration
phase through site visits, field observations, submittal/RFI reviews, and responses to construction-related issues Contribute to projects ranging from
small renovations and rehabilitation projects
to
large-scale new construction Work collaboratively with senior staff and project managers to meet schedule, budget, and quality objectives Take on increasing technical responsibility and limited task-level leadership as experience grows
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering
(Master’s degree a plus) 4–8 years
of relevant structural engineering experience with an emphasis on
building structures PE preferred
(EIT required; active progress toward licensure expected) Strong understanding and practical application of applicable
building codes and design standards Experience with
structural analysis and design software
(e.g., ETABS, RAM, SAP2000, RISA, STAAD, etc.) AutoCAD required ;
Revit experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team environment

Minimum:
$95,000
Maximum: $125,000 (commensurate with experience) - Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
