Key responsibilities include: Preparing and submitting accurate claims to insurance companies, government payers and patients Reviewing patient accounts and verifying insurance coverages Resolving claim denials, rejections and payment discrepancies Posting payments and adjustments to patient accounts Maintaining compliance with all federal and state regulations including HIPAA Communication with patients regarding billing inquiries and providing excellent customer service Collaboration with other team members to ensure efficient workflow We offer paid time off, medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, along with an unparalleled retirement plan. The salary range for this position is commensurate with candidate experience.
Requirements: A key job requirement is prior experience in medical billing. This role requires accuracy and compliance, proficiency in billing software, databases or other financial tolls and a strong willingness to learn. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and experience with EPIC or another electronic EMR system also preferred.
