Data Scientist / Data Analyst Programmer
to join a high-performing team supporting data, analytics, automation, and business intelligence initiatives within a leading manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a data professional who enjoys working across the full data lifecycle, from data engineering and integration through to analytics, reporting, and process automation. You'll play a key role in delivering data-driven solutions that support business performance and decision-making.
The Role
Working within a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, developers, analysts, and project managers, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data solutions that support operational and strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Data Engineering & Management Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python, SQL, and Snowflake. Cleanse, validate, transform, and manage enterprise data. Support scheduled data loads and data quality processes. Maintain data governance standards and technical documentation. Analytics & Reporting Create and maintain datasets for reporting and business analysis. Support KPI development and analytical modelling activities. Investigate and resolve data and reporting issues. Deliver insights that support business decision-making. Automation & Application Development Develop dashboards and workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Support Salesforce CRM data integration activities. Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency through automation. Stakeholder Collaboration Work closely with technical and business stakeholders across multiple functions. Support project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to a collaborative and data-driven working environment.
Required Skills & Experience
3-5+ years' experience in data science, analytics, data engineering, automation, or a related discipline. Strong Python programming skills. Hands-on experience with SQL and Snowflake. Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate). Experience working with CRM data, ideally Salesforce. Good understanding of data modelling, data quality, and analytics principles. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Desirable Skills
Exposure to machine learning or advanced analytics techniques. Experience working with cloud-based data platforms. Relevant technical certifications.
