Migrate and manage large sets of customer requirements into IBM DOORS Next Generation. Perform requirements decomposition from high-level customer specifications to low-level system and component-level requirements. Establish and maintain traceability matrices across hardware and software domains. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure complete coverage and alignment of decomposed requirements. Support verification planning using IBM DOORS Next Generation’s verification module. Work with both COTS and in-house developed software components to ensure proper requirement allocation. Assist in converting spreadsheet-based requirement systems into structured, traceable formats within IBM DOORS Next Generation. Participate in documentation efforts and ensure all requirements are safety-allocated and properly categorized. Coordinate with systems and software engineers to support certification of multiple software items. Essential Skills
Proven experience with IBM DOORS Next Generation, especially in managing large requirement sets. Strong experience in requirements decomposition, traceability, and verification planning. Familiarity with aerospace systems, especially novel aircraft or automotive components. Ability to work collaboratively across hardware and software domains. Experience with safety-critical systems and understanding of safety allocation principles. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Familiarity with both software and hardware systems engineering is preferred. Work Environment
This role is remote and highly collaborative. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with evolving customer requirements and supporting the maturation of system-level documentation. Pay & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $130,000.00 – $175,000.00/hr. Benefits
