Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Local & travel allowed.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services and no current placement allowed at Program: Rightsourcing Program - IHC Health Services.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Two years of Invasive Cardiovascular Technology or Electrophysiology experience. - Demonstrated proficiency in all CVIS I job duties without supervision. -Demonstrated expertise in performing complex diagnostic and advanced interventional procedures or demonstrated understanding. -Proficiency in correlation with years of experience with regards to electrophysiology procedures. -Maintains at least 20 hours of continuing medical education (CME) credits per year. -Maintains at least 20 hours continuing medical education credits per year. -Must be competent in basic coronary intervention (have completed skills pass off).

Required Credentials: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in health science program. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology, Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing program. - Passage of the CEPS exam (EP only).

Shift & Scheduling: On Call: Yes

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or the alternative certifications RCES (Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)), (R) (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)), CV (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)), VI (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT))

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
