Database Management: Manage and maintain DB2, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, and Azure databases to ensure they are secure, efficient, and reliable. Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability in case of emergencies. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve database issues, including database connectivity and performance problems. Database Upgrades and Patching: Plan and execute database upgrades and patches to ensure systems are up to date and secure. Cloud Integration: Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for database deployment, management, and optimization. Requirements:
Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a strong focus on DB2, PostgreSQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, and Azure. Solid understanding of database design, implementation, and maintenance. Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques. Strong knowledge of database security best practices. Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies. Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database problems. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
