Jobtittle: Azure Architect Location: Leopardstown, Dublin - 1 days onsite per week Contract: 12 months Rate: Highly Competitive Working patten: Full time We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Architect to join a growing enterprise cloud platform team. Networking serves as a foundational layer across the Azure platform, underpinning service integration, AI infrastructure, and secure private access patterns. As workload demand and operational responsibilities continue to grow, an additional senior resource is required to support delivery timelines, reduce operational risk, and accelerate customer onboarding. This role will play a key part in supporting platform maturity aligned to the 2026 roadmap while maintaining platform stability, scalability, and service quality. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly technical cloud engineer with strong Terraform, Azure networking, automation, and enterprise platform engineering experience. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure across Azure environments. Deliver scalable and secure cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. Support Azure networking capabilities, secure private access patterns, and service integration. Contribute to Azure Landing Zones, ingress/egress controls, and enterprise connectivity solutions. Support AI platform integration including Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, and related AI services. Embed security, governance, and compliance into cloud platform engineering practices. Automate infrastructure delivery through CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tooling. Work closely with Security, Networking, Platform Engineering, AI Infrastructure, and Integration teams. Support roadmap execution and operational excellence across large-scale enterprise cloud environments. Required Experience Experienced in focused on cloud engineering across Azure, AWS, or GCP. Experience applying cloud architecture frameworks such as the Azure Cloud Adoption Framework. Deep understanding of distributed systems, operating systems, hypervisors, and web protocols. Strong Azure networking and enterprise cloud platform experience. Experience embedding security into cloud platforms using Azure Policy, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, or equivalent technologies. Strong automation and CI/CD experience using tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, or similar technologies. Development or scripting experience in Java or Python. Experience working within Agile and test-driven development environments. Desirable Experience Experience with Azure AI services including Azure AI Foundry, AI Search, and agent services. Exposure to multi-cloud strategies and cross-platform governance models. Experience operating within large enterprise cloud ecosystems. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
