About The Role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our dynamic team within the ADC Diabetes Care division. This role involves developing and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions on a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform that serves users across more than 50 countries. The ideal candidate will have a passion for software engineering, strong leadership qualities, and a desire to make a meaningful impact by improving the lives of millions of people with diabetes. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, including InfoSec, design, and product management, to deliver high‑quality features and solutions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare solutions that empower users to manage their health effectively. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience 3+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, Typescript, and JavaScript Experience with modern front‑end build tools and pipelines Familiarity with version control systems such as Git Understanding of web standards, best practices, and microservices architecture Hands‑on experience with RESTful APIs and API contract design Knowledge of design systems and Figma design tokens Strong communication skills with high attention to detail Motivated to learn new technologies and software skills Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and distributed teams Experience conducting collaborative code reviews Responsibilities
Develop and implement reusable front‑end components and libraries for future use Translate design wireframes into high‑quality, performant code Optimize components for maximum efficiency across various devices and browsers Create new user‑facing features using React.js and other modern frameworks Collaborate with internal and external partners to integrate APIs, enabling data sharing and utilization Design and maintain highly testable, scalable, and secure codebases Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to decision‑making processes Create diagrams, flowcharts, and models to illustrate system design and workflows Work within Agile teams to develop, test, and deliver features iteratively Collaborate with InfoSec teams to ensure security standards are met Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability Support continuous improvement through code reviews, documentation, and best practices Benefits
