About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated IT teammate that's interested in duties that span across traditional data engineer, integrator, analyst, and database administrator roles to join our ET Corporate Reporting & Analytics team. In this role, you will design, build, and support the systems, data pipelines, databases, and analytics platforms that power the District's core business processes. This position works across both SAP and Microsoft ecosystems—supporting critical applications, delivering reliable data solutions, and ensuring secure, efficient, and high quality operations. You will collaborate closely with business units, technical teams, and vendors to deliver solutions that meet customer needs while contributing to the development, reliability, and modernization of our data landscape. The incumbent will become a technical solution owner for the technologies team is responsible for supporting. The incumbent is not required to be knowledgeable on all preferred technical skills or supported products listed at date of hire. Key Responsibilities
Data Integration & Warehousing Database Administration Analytics & Reporting Technical Leadership & Collaboration Operational Support Primary Technologies Used Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL ETL & Data Warehousing: Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SAP Business Warehouse on HANA (BWoH), SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Analytics: SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Analysis for Office (A4O), Microsoft PowerBI Data Governance: SAP Information Steward, BigID Preferred Technical Skills Database design, query development, data modeling, security, and performance tuning ETL development and data integration, including API consumption and limited C#.NET Data warehousing development Reporting and analytics development Database patching, auditing, and licensing management Understanding of SAP and Microsoft Enterprise data systems and tools Education, Training and Experience Technical Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of three (3) years technical IT experience, including specific experience as listed below (OR) High school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years technical IT experience, including specific experience as listed below. Systems Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of four (4) years technical IT experience as listed below (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of six (6) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below (OR) a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of eight (8) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below. Senior Systems Analyst: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of eight (8) years technical IT experience as listed below (OR) Associate degree and a minimum of ten (10) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below (OR) a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of twelve (12) years technical IT experience including specific experience as listed below. Experience Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others on multiple activities with flexibility to manage competing demands and changing priorities. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Excellent analytical problem-solving skills. Must be customer-service oriented and adaptable to ongoing change. Licenses and/or Certifications Security Clearance: Incumbent may be required to satisfy any existing and future District security clearance or background check requirements for access to key NPPD locations and/or supporting sensitive business applications. Obtain and maintain intermediate to advanced technical certification aligned with key business system platform(s) used at the District (for example, SAP, Microsoft Certifications, and Security related best practices) as applicable. In addition to the base salary range listed below, NPPD employees may also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program (AIP) that may supplement total compensation at a level above and beyond the stated salary range. Technical Analyst - Pay Grade - 12 Monthly Typical Pay Grade Starting Salary Range : $6,477.00 - $8,096.00 Systems Analyst - Pay Grade - 14 Monthly Typical Pay Grade Starting Salary Range : $8,218.00 - $10,478.00 Senior Systems Analyst - Pay Grade - 15 Monthly Typical Pay Grade Starting Salary Range : $9,430.00 - $12,023.00 Travel Required: Up to 25% (With no or minimal overnight stays, less than 3 per month, typically within state of Nebraska) Travel required may fluctuate by business need.
