We are hiring a B2B Inside Sales Specialist to support and grow our commercial and industrial business across the Houston metro area. This role is ideal for a consultative B2B sales professional with experience selling technical or industrial solutions who can manage complex buying cycles and communicate value to multiple stakeholders. Experience in commercial or industrial lighting is a strong advantage, but professionals with a proven background selling industrial, building systems, energy, or facility solutions are also encouraged to apply. You will manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting through close—while selling performance-driven lighting and building-infrastructure solutions that improve efficiency, compliance, and workplace environments.
Compensation & Benefits Base Salary: $50,000 Commission: Competitive, uncapped On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100,000+ in year one Total Earning Potential: $50,000 – $120,000+ annually Benefits Include: Health insurance (employee contribution required) Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid holidays Company-provided laptop and sales tools Travel reimbursement (as applicable)
Territory & Market Focus You will work with B2B clients across the Houston Metroplex, including: Industrial and manufacturing facilities Warehouses and distribution centers Healthcare systems and medical buildings Educational institutions Commercial offices Municipal and government facilities
Key Responsibilities Generate new business through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and account development Build relationships with facility managers, operations leaders, procurement teams, engineers, and executives Sell commercial and industrial lighting systems, including LED upgrades, retrofits, and controls Conduct consultative sales conversations to identify operational, energy, and compliance needs Present the technical, financial, and operational benefits of lighting and building-infrastructure solutions Manage the entire B2B sales cycle from initial contact through close Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasts Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoff and customer success
Required Qualifications B2B inside sales or technical sales experience Proven ability to run full-cycle sales (prospecting through close) Experience selling industrial, commercial, or technical solutions Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, business-focused way Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal-driven Valid driver’s license and dependable personal vehicle
Preferred / Strong Plus Experience selling lighting solutions (LED, retrofits, lighting controls, or lighting systems) Background in industrial, healthcare, education, or municipal markets Experience working with facility upgrades, energy projects, or building systems Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting Why Join Us?
