Under general supervision, this position provides operational and technical support to the mobile crane support group at assigned sites. The role assists site and department leadership with training, planning, safety, compliance, and workforce development related to mobile crane operations. Assist in the development, training, and ongoing skill enhancement of employees performing mobile crane operations. Support the planning and preparation of scheduled crane jobs to ensure safe and efficient execution. Actively participate in and support company safety programs, including behavioral safety audits, Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Near Miss reporting, Metals programs, and other initiatives as directed by management. Assist management in ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and environmental regulations. Demonstrate an understanding of cost control principles and assist in the development of departmental operating, maintenance, and capital budgets. Participate in the mentoring and onboarding process for new Mobile Crane Operators and Apprentices. Serve as a member of the selection panel for Certified and Master Mobile Crane Operators. Perform other duties as required. The estimated pay range for this role is currently $31.00 - $41.00. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. Employees may be required to work a non-standard schedule, which may include shift work (other than day shift) at a 24/7, 365-day operation.
