Commercial Pricing Analyst Location: Cork City Full-Time, Permanent - Hybrid Role Overview Morgan McKinley is exclusively partnering on a Commercial Pricing Analyst opportunity within a fast-paced retail and wholesale distribution environment. The role focuses on pricing analysis, margin optimisation, and commercial reporting to support decision-making, profitability, and competitive positioning. You will work closely with commercial, finance, retail, and operations teams to deliver actionable insight and maintain pricing integrity across multiple product lines. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain daily pricing across retail and commercial channels. Analyse pricing structures, margins, customer behaviour, and market trends. Support development of pricing models, proposals, and commercial deals. Monitor market movements and competitor positioning. Deliver regular reporting on sales, volume, margin, profitability, and performance vs budget. Build and maintain dashboards and analytical tools to support decision-making. Identify risks, opportunities, and pricing optimisation strategies. Ensure accuracy and consistency of pricing inputs and outputs. Person Specification Essential Strong numerical and analytical ability. Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large datasets. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Desirable Experience in retail, wholesale, commodities, or other pricing-driven sectors. Exposure to pricing, margin analysis, or commercial reporting. Experience with Power BI or similar tools.
