We are seeking a confident, experienced sales leader to serve as our Field Sales Team Lead. This is a player-coach role: you will manage a team of 10+ sales representatives while staying active in the field, teaching by example, and driving enrollment growth. You own team performance from strategy through execution setting targets, developing talent, reporting to leadership, and ensuring Vamos Health is synonymous with trust in every community we serve.
The Team Lead role combines a guaranteed base salary with performance bonuses tied to both team and individual output.
Anticipated annual compensation: $75,000 $100,000
Guaranteed base salary: $35,568
Key Responsibilities
- Set individual and team sales targets aligned with company metrics
- Hire, onboard, and develop a team of 10+ field sales representatives
- Coach team members on sales techniques, objection handling, and product knowledge
- Monitor daily and pay-period performance; identify and address gaps quickly
- Conduct regular 1:1s, team huddles, and performance review conversations
Field Leadership
- Lead by example actively participate in door-to-door outreach and community events alongside your team
- Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to specific communities and geographies
- Assist team members in building and maintaining strong member relationships
- Represent Vamos Health at job fairs, community events, and partner activations
Operations & Reporting
- Track and report sales metrics to leadership every pay period
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical teams to drive enrollment growth
- Ensure accurate enrollment data entry in Hint / Cerebro systems across the team
- Manage team scheduling, equipment, and advertising tools for field operations
- Address and resolve member complaints to protect trust and retention
Qualifications
Required
- Proven experience (2+ years) in sales
- Demonstrated experience hiring, managing, and developing a sales team
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
- Confident leadership presence organized, motivating, and highly accountable
- Ability to manage schedule and drive team accountability in an unstructured field environment
- Access to a personal vehicle for daily use (mileage reimbursed, daily commute not included)
- U.S. work authorization
Preferred
- Experience in healthcare, insurance, or membership-based sales environments
- Familiarity with CRM and enrollment platforms
- Experience coordinating field team logistics (stands, events, promotional materials)
Work Environment
- Primarily outdoor field sales with occasional team huddles at a Vamos Health clinic
- Frequent use of a computer, tablet, and/or cell phone
- Varying schedule including evenings, weekends, and extended hours as business dictates
- Occasional exposure to heat or cold temperatures
