Lead and mentor a team of Jr. developers to develop and deliver capabilities as required by the client. Design new solutions using Palantir Foundry to deliver capabilities meeting business functional requirements. Analyze & Design modifications to existing data model solutions as needed. Promote code into production. Define test cases and verify test results to ensure solutions are functioning as designed. Build data models and reports using datasets from ERPs and legacy systems. Required Skills/Experience
Security Clearance: U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance are required Ability to work 2 days per week onsite at the Taylor Building in Crystal City Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience: 10 years of related work experience Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Prior experience leading a team of Jr. developers to deliver software capabilities on 2 or more projects. Minimum of 5 years of hands on development experience and proficiency in Python and Pyspark. Three years of experience with Palantir Foundry Experience with Dev/Ops and CI/CD pipelines using Gitlab. Army functional knowledge and proven experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation. Familiarity with database design and architecture; relational and non-relational Ability to work cross-functionally, and participate in discussions Knowledge of cloud architecture: commercial cloud vendors (AWS/Azure) Competence with software engineering tools and processes (estimation, issue tracking, version control, debugging, etc.) Proven ability to work independently on assigned tasks without any supervision. Proven experience in knowledge sharing (i.e., code reviews, solid documentation) Driven, self-directed personality Strong sense of mission and commitment to making a difference Desired Skills/Experience
Experience implementing RESTful APIs Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster positive outcomes from diverse interests of people and teams Experience working with the DoD Experience working with GFEBS or other SAP ERP system The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
