Your contribution:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization of  MS SQL Server PostgreSQL , and  Oracle databases   in a dynamic, enterprise-level setting, ensuring reliability and excellence at every step.
  • Drive effective collaboration with development and cross-functional teams to anticipate and support complex database requirements, implement  security policies , and maintain efficient, compliant access controls.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot database performance, apply  advanced query tuning , and develop backup and recovery strategies to guarantee  data integrity   and  high availability .
  • Strategically plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and consolidations, minimizing downtime and ensuring strict adherence to  industry best practices   and organizational standards.
  • Mentor and empower junior DBAs, maintain exemplary technical documentation, and communicate fluidly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and continual improvement.

What you bring:

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience   managing  MS SQL Server PostgreSQL , and  Oracle databases , with a proven record in  performance analysis, optimization, and comprehensive administration   across all platforms.
  • A completed degree in IT, preferably from a renowned university, or an equivalent high-quality qualification, providing a robust foundation in database management and system operations .

  • Deep proficiency in  T-SQL PL/pgSQL , and  PL/SQL ; mastery of tools such as  SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) pgAdmin , and  Oracle SQL Developer ; knowledge of  high availability solutions   (Always On, Streaming Replication, Data Guard) and advanced backup and recovery technologies.
  • Excellent  analytical thinking , exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding  communication skills   enabling effective collaboration across teams and clear explanation of technical concepts.
  • Strong  initiative , reliability, and a commitment to  continuous improvement , complemented by excellent  German and English language skills   for seamless interaction in an international environment.
