Automation Test Analyst 12 month contract Dublin city centre/Hybrid working 2 days onsite per week Our high profile client based in Dublin city centre is actively seeking an experienced Automation Test Analyst with 4+ years of experience to join their team. Responsibilities: Responsibility for the automation of repeatable test scenarios such as: o Browser based transactions o Webservices o Regression tests o Batch Program o Scenario scripting o Cross browser/mobile/App testing Review user stories/requirements/Functional design specifications/Functional Test Scripts from an automation viewpoint. Identify and write detailed reusable test scripts for automation testing that can be incorporated into continuous integration and continuous development build when necessary. Integrate automated tests into the development build process. Define and prepare test data requirements for automated test. Execute automation test criteria and interpret Prepare a test execution schedule. Identify, create and prioritise, as needed, Test Conditions, Cases and Scriptsincluding regression tests. Liaise with project team on agreed automation scope and priorities. Organisation of skill/knowledge transfer and mentoring Experience Required: Writing test cases using Gherkin or equivalent Executing system, integration, webservices/APl and mobile/app tests and analysing the outcome against expected results Setting up of test data and use of SQL to write/run queries to validate data Toolset/Other Experience SQL/PLSQL Java Use of test automation frameworks, tools and software programming languages. Selenium Cucumber Postman SQL Developer Gitlab Jira Confluence
