Gabriel Architects (GA) was established in 1994 as a full-service architectural design firm for a wide variety of projects ranging from residential, multi-family, commercial, public, medical and winery projects throughout the Central Coast. Currently GA is a well-established five-person office with growth opportunity for the person who fits in well in our awesome team.

GA is establishing a new office in San Luis Obispo in December and is seeking a highly talented individual to become an integral part of our firm and develop into a leadership position working directly with Larry Gabriel, the principal. GA needs a Project Architect who is highly motivated, self-starter with strong design and presentation skills and has excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
GA has positions available at both offices in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.
*Potential for Upper-level Management Position: *
● Manage: Staff, Project Scheduling, Project Production
● Assist with: Design, Presentations, Marketing
*Duties & Responsibilities: *
● Collaborate with entire staff
● Develop program, design, and construction document phases
● Direct construction documents, code analysis, managing consultants, and quality control
● Review documents for permitting bidding and construction completeness
● Multitask responsibilities
*Requirements:*
● Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience
● Architectural license in California
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
● Extensive experience in commercial construction documents and detailing
● Current knowledge of the California Building Codes
● Very detailed orientated while being able to multi-task
●Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & 3-D Modeling
