divh2Agency C.N.A./h2pJob Category: Operations Group Requisition Number: AGENC001224/ppPosted: December 27, 2023/ppPart-Time/ppIntegriNurse- Pilgrim Rehab Peabody, MA 01960, USA/ph3Description/h3pThe primary purpose of this position is to provide quality nursing care to residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the residents assessment and care plan, and as directed by your supervisor./ppProvides quality nursing care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice and individuality./ppDemonstrates respect, attention and awareness toward the diversity among the people we serve (residents, families, caregivers, etc.) through their attitude, service and actions./ppIs knowledgeable of the individualized care plan for residents and provides support to the resident in accordance with their care plan./ppIdentifies and participates in QAPI process or leave as area of development./ppAssists in daily requirements and tasks in care and treatment of residents. Areas of care include bathroom assistance, general personal hygiene (bathing, dental hygiene, hair and nails) dressing, mobility assistance and food intake, and other needs in keeping with the individuals care requirements./ppMaintains resident rights and confidentiality./ppDocuments all ADLs in electronic health record./ppObserves and reports symptoms, reactions and other changes in condition promptly./ppRoutinely turns and positions residents as required by care plan./ppComplies all aspects of residents rights. Is responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of resident abuse or violations of resident rights to the charge nurse or administration./ppHonors resident right to refuse care, report such refusal to nurse supervisor./ppAssists in maintaining a safe, neat and clean environment./ppAnswers resident call bells promptly and courteously./ppEnsures that residents who are unable to call for help are checked frequently./ppTakes and documents temperature, pulse and respirations rates, food and fluid intake and output, and heights and weights and records in EHR./ppAmbulates and transfers residents using the appropriate assistive devices and body mechanics./ppUses only the equipment you have been trained to use, operates in a safer manner and reports any defective equipment to supervisor immediately./ppCommunicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with the residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors./ppAssists and escorts residents to appointments such as the hair salon or attending activities, church services or doctors appointments./ph3Qualifications/h3pBehaviors:/ppPreferred: Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well/ppTeam Player: Works well as a member of a group/ppEducation:/ppPreferred: High School or better.
