Key Responsibilities – Java Backend Production Support: Provide production support for Java-based backend applications, ensuring system stability and high availability. Troubleshoot and resolve
Sev1/Sev2 production incidents
within defined SLAs. Analyze application logs and system behavior using tools like
Splunk and Datadog
to identify root causes quickly. Debug backend issues related to
APIs, microservices, and integration flows
built in Java. Perform
SQL-based data validation and investigation
to identify data inconsistencies and production issues. Monitor application health and performance across production environments and proactively detect anomalies. Work on
Linux servers
for log analysis, service checks, and basic operational troubleshooting. Support and troubleshoot
Kafka-based messaging systems , including message flow, lag, and processing issues. Participate in
API testing and validation
to ensure correct service behavior during incidents and releases. Support
cloud-based environments and CI/CD pipelines , including deployment verification and post-release checks. Conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
and document findings with preventive actions to avoid recurring issues. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to implement permanent fixes and system improvements. Focus on reducing downtime through fast issue identification, incident triage, and proactive monitoring. Identify recurring production issues and contribute to long-term stability improvements and automation opportunities.
