Duties of the Mechanical Design Engineer based in Essex
Utilise your mechanical and electro-mechanical engineering expertise to support the design and development of new products Create and develop detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using industry-standard tools Design robust enclosures, housings, and mechanical systems for use in harsh and demanding environments Interpret and evaluate technical requirements to develop effective concept and detailed design solutions Work across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept through to prototype, testing, and production support Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams including electrical, electronic, and manufacturing departments Support continuous improvement in design quality, manufacturability, and product performance
