A career as a Chief Analyst, Financial Performance Management within the Capital Markets and International team at National Bank means acting as a partner specialized in the understanding and analysis of the financial performance of the International sector (Credigy, ABA Bank). Through your financial analysis capabilities, advisory mindset, experience in performance management and decision support, as well as your knowledge of the banking sector and financial markets, you will have a positive impact on the quality of strategic decisions, business profitability and the optimization of financial resources.

Your role

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of the financial performance of the International sector’s activities (USSF&I)
  • Understand, explain and document the key revenue and expense drivers, performance variances and their financial impacts
  • Produce recurring and ad hoc analyses to ensure rigorous monitoring of financial results
  • Proactively monitor the International sector’s financial performance (USSF&I) using key indicators
  • Support management decisions through an advisory role by providing clear, structured and fact-based analyses
  • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, stress-testing and results disclosure processes
  • Contribute to the evolution and optimization of financial tools, policies and processes

Your Team

Within the Finance - Capital Markets and International sector, you will be part of a team of professionals specialized in financial performance management and report to the sector’s Senior Director. The team acts as a key partner to business units and management by supporting strategic decision-making, financial governance and performance analysis.

Prerequisite  

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field (finance, accounting, economics or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in financial analysis, performance management or an advisory role
  • Strong knowledge of the banking sector
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in a complex and constantly evolving environment
  • Demonstrate an interest in developing skills with Power BI, Power Query, and Excel
