The Medical Assistant performs varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. You will perform computations, and other tasks, and report to the Center Administrator./ppThe Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks such as:/pulliDocument patient symptoms in EMR/liliTake and record vital signs/liliAdminister injections/liliPerform diagnostic tests/liliCollect specimens and draw blood/liliSterilize equipment/liliMaintain examination rooms/liliOther tasks as assigned/li/ulpRequired:/pulliSuccessful completion of MA school/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant or 5+ years of experience and approval from Provider/liliPhlebotomy experience/liliMedication/vaccine administration experience/liliCPR Certified/liliThis role is considered patient facing and is part of the companys Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB/li/ulpPreferred:/pulliCertified or Registered (Arizona, Indiana, and South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration)/liliValue Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience./liliBilingual in English and Spanish/li/ulpWorking Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 to 5:00/ppSign On Bonus: $1000 -Paid after 120 days of Employment/ppLocation: Onsite in Deerfield Beach, Florida/ppHumana values personal identity protection. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
