Their current CEO started off as an intern at the company, and is one of many success stories within the organization. In this key role, you will lead and support the design of bespoke heavy industrial equipment used across global plant operations, working closely with engineers, designers, vendors, and project teams. You will mentor junior engineers, oversee equipment specifications and design improvements, whilst supporting commissioning activities at customer sites. This role has up to 30% travel, with rare international travel up to 2 weeks at a time. This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from a heavy industrial background, looking to play a pivotal role on a range of innovative cradle to grave projects, whilst receiving specialist training and progressing to management level. The Role: Lead and support the design of bespoke heavy industrial equipment used across global plant operations Mentor junior engineers, oversee equipment specifications and design improvements, whilst supporting commissioning activities at customer sites Up to 30% travel, with rare international travel up to 2 weeks at a time The Person: Mechanical Design Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / Project Engineer Experience with any of the following: heavy equipment, pressure vessels, thermal expansion, refractory systems, heavy industrial equipment, heat exchangers, or similar Looking to play a lead role at an ever-expanding business on specialist projects
