divh2EPG Sales Engineer 400/h2pZiegler CAT has an opening for an EPG Sales Engineer 400. This position will develop sales opportunities with new and existing customers. This position will support Electric Power customers through the following job responsibilities: working through customer account commercial issues, providing technical documentation support, supporting other sales engineers, and assisting with project management as needed./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliSeeks out prospective customers and provides proposals for Electric Power Generation equipment./liliResponds to current customer requests for Electric Power Generation equipment/liliAnalyzes engineering specifications to quote equipment that will meet the project requirements/liliAnalyzes Electric Power Generation sales opportunities in the territory and systematically targets business opportunities/liliDocuments the project and component specifications required by individual customers/liliDocuments sales quotations for customers using standard Ziegler formatting/liliSupports other Sales Engineers as well as customers by providing technical information, literature, schematics and wiring diagrams/liliLearns about Cat and competitive products in order to offer the best solutions based on customer interests and concerns/liliQuotes and closes sales transactions within assigned authority parameters, completing all required sales documentation/liliCoordinates the activities of support divisions within Ziegler and Caterpillar to manage product field service and product quality issues/liliDocuments quotation, win, loss and data along with other business activities./li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliBachelors degree required/lili3+ years of technical sales experience/liliPersonal Attributes: Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Attention to Detail, Sociability, Achievement Orientation/liliStrong mechanical aptitude/liliClean driving record/liliWorking knowledge of internal combustion engine installations and drive trains/liliAnalytical skills/liliElectric Power, Electrician, Generator, or Reciprocating Engine experience desired/li/ulh3Travel:/h3ulliUp to 25% travel/li/ulh3Minimum Physical Requirements:/h3ulliStanding, walking, using hands, talking, hearing./liliWorking Conditions may be indoor and/or outdoor.
