Skylight is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to own and scale our financial operations in a government contracting environment. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and operational insight as we grow. The ideal candidate brings deep GovCon experience, hands‑on expertise with Unanet, and the ability to partner closely with leadership, operations, and project teams. Serve as the primary administrator and subject‑matter expert for Unanet, ensuring accurate project setup, labor costing, billing, and revenue recognition; training staff on best practices; and continuously improving workflows and reporting to support compliance and scalability. Lead the preparation, review, and submission of all customer invoices, ensuring accuracy, contractual compliance, and timely delivery. Design, implement, and maintain finance processes, internal controls, and best practices to support operational consistency and risk mitigation. Identify and drive opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and financial transparency across finance operations and reporting. Act as a trusted financial partner to delivery and leadership, translating financial data into actionable insights to inform operational and strategic decision‑making.
