Collaborate with the Art Director and Creative Director to interpret long term strategies and company needs into dynamic, modern creative that accomplishes our goals. Take a proactive lead on high-visibility, high profile projects within the organization, developing multiple design directions and leading non-design collaborators through iterative processes of feedback and refinement. Lead by example and provide mentorship to other members of the Design Team and the greater Creative Team (design, video, communications). Monitor design trends in color, UI, typography etc and leverage them to meet or exceed user expectations in interface and collateral design. Design web & mobile UI, illustration, infographics, logo & brand identity, and presentations, as well as developing branding systems, style guides and other design resources. Represent the Design & Creative Teams on cross-functional projects, asking clarifying questions, managing project tickets, and pushing back when necessary. Requirements:

You find this process fun, and part of creating an amazing final product Experience taking ownership of large scale design projects Experience designing for a broad range of media and formats Experience as the point person on a team Experience in and comfort with an Agile work environment No babysitter required (ability to work independently) You love to design cool stuff and lead projects. You want your cool stuff to be really good and to be seen by lots of people. You’ve been working for a massive corporation, and you want to work somewhere you’ll make a difference. You’d like to move to more of a culture and process of research first, design second. It interests you to take the time to dig into whom we’re targeting, making things, adjusting after seeing how they perform, and designing not just to finish a project but to make an impact and change. This job might be a rare opportunity to have the freedom to do this.
